Galatasaray Continues to Monitor Koopmeiners

Galatasaray club remains interested in signing Dutch midfielder Teun Koopmeiners during the summer transfer window, as the Turkish club seeks to strengthen its midfield with a player who has significant experience in European competitions.

According to Italian and Turkish press reports, Juventus does not mind considering offers for the player this summer and has set a price of around 30 million euros to let him go, which is not considered the main obstacle to completing the deal.

The bigger issue lies in Koopmeiners' annual salary, as he earns around 4.5 million euros net per season with Juventus, which is a high figure compared to the usual salary cap at Galatasaray. This makes reaching a personal agreement more complicated than negotiating with the Italian club.

Kopmeiners joined Juventus from Atalanta with high expectations, but his first season in Turin did not fully meet those expectations, which opened the door to speculation about his future and the possibility of his departure if a suitable offer arrives.

So far, the negotiations have not reached an advanced stage, but Galatasaray's interest in the player remains. The chances of completing the deal will largely depend on the Turkish club's ability to find a suitable arrangement for the player's salary or secure a contribution from Juventus to cover part of his wages.
