Officially.. Juventus Activates the Purchase Option for Jérémie Boga
Juventus has officially announced the activation of the purchase option for the Ivorian winger Jérémie Boga from French club Nice, allowing the player to continue his journey with 'The Old Lady' under a contract extending until the summer of 2029.
According to the official statement, the deal is valued at 4.8 million euros, payable in two installments, with additional costs that may reach up to 800,000 euros, making Boga's transfer permanent after the six months he spent with the team on loan.
Juventus's decision came after the good performances the player delivered during the second half of the season, where he successfully established himself as one of the important attacking options in coach Luciano Spalletti's lineup, scoring 4 goals in 17 matches across various competitions.
Boga joined Juventus last January from Nice on loan with a purchase option, before the management decided to activate the clause due to its suitable financial value and their satisfaction with the player's performance on the field.
