Officially.. Juventus activates the purchase clause for Jérémie Boga and grants him a contract until 2029
Juventus officially announced the activation of the option to purchase Ivorian winger Jérémie Boga from French club Nice, allowing the player to continue his journey with "The Old Lady" under a contract extending until the summer of 2029.
According to the official statement, the deal is valued at 4.8 million euros, to be paid in two installments, with additional costs that may reach up to 800,000 euros, making Boga's transfer permanent after the six months he spent with the team on loan.
Juventus made the decision following the good performances the player delivered during the second half of the season, where he managed to establish himself as one of the important attacking options in coach Luciano Spalletti's lineup, scoring 4 goals in 17 matches across various competitions.
Boga joined Juventus last January on loan from Nice with an option to buy. The management decided to activate the clause due to its suitable financial value and their satisfaction with the player's performance on the field.
