Leão Reveals His Preferred Destination
Portuguese star Rafael Leão confirmed his desire to embark on a new experience away from AC Milan during the summer transfer window, indicating that the current phase could be a turning point in his career.
Liao said in his statement: "I want a new challenge outside the Italian league. I follow the English Premier League with great attention, and if I get the opportunity to play there or in the Spanish league, I would be very happy because my talent would be showcased better there."
He added: "Let's see what happens this summer, and considering the way the team has worked this season, I don't think I've played under the right conditions in my position where I can make a difference."
He concluded: "I played for 4 to 5 months while suffering from an injury, in addition to being deployed in different positions, which left me exhausted by the end of the season."
The Portuguese winger has been linked with several clubs, most notably Arsenal, Manchester United, and Barcelona, knowing that the Italian club will not oppose the player's departure if a suitable offer arrives in the coming period.
