According to Italian journalist Nicola Schira, the Royal Club has requested information about the Italian player's situation, despite there being no official or direct negotiations with Arsenal at the moment.

The report indicated that Portuguese coach José Mourinho is one of the biggest admirers of Calafiori's abilities, as he knows him well from their time working together at Roma, and believes in his ability to contribute to the team's defense.
