Historic Contract Awaits Arteta with Arsenal

Arsenal Football Club is close to securing its manager Mikel Arteta with a new long-term contract, following a successful season in which he led the team to win the Premier League title after a long absence.

According to journalist Sami Moqbel, the new contract will see a significant increase in the Spanish coach's salary, in addition to extending his association with the club for at least three more years.

Arteta currently earns an annual salary of £10 million, along with bonuses of up to £5 million for qualifying for the Champions League.

The report indicated that the anticipated contract will make Arteta the highest-paid coach in England, following Pep Guardiola's departure from Manchester City, where the former City coach was earning approximately 20 million pounds annually.

Arteta's new salary is expected to come close to this figure, reflecting Arsenal's management's confidence in the project led by the Spanish coach and their desire to maintain the team's technical stability in the coming years.
