The Paris public prosecutor's office announced a fatal traffic accident in the capital during the night of celebrations for Paris Saint-Germain's Champions League title.

The newspaper 'Le Parisien' reported that the accident involved a motocross bike, where the driver died after directly colliding with concrete barriers on an exit ramp from the ring road at the Porte Maillot area.

Another person was seriously injured, and their health condition remains critical as of Sunday.

In a related context, French Interior Minister Laurent Nuñez reported an increase in the use of mortar shells against security forces during the celebrations.

According to the official tally, 780 people were arrested across France compared to 592 cases last year for the same match, with 457 people placed under theoretical custody, in addition to recording 219 injuries, including 8 serious cases, as well as 57 police officers injured.
