Arsenal Seeks to Join Historic List in Champions League

Arsenal Football Club aims to achieve a historic feat in the UEFA Champions League by winning the title without any defeat during the season, ahead of their match against Paris Saint-Germain in the final.

According to the official website of the Union of European Football Associations, Arsenal has not suffered any losses during the 14 matches they have played in the current edition of the Champions League, giving them a chance to join an exclusive list of clubs that have succeeded in winning without defeat.

The same source explained that only 9 clubs have managed to achieve this feat in the era of the Champions League, along with 7 other clubs in the era of the European Cup, noting that the highest number of matches a team has played without losing previously was only 13 matches, while the current system since the 2024/2025 season requires playing at least 15 matches to win the title, making Arsenal's accomplishment unprecedented under the new system if achieved.
