The official website of the Union of European Football Associations highlighted the previous participations of both teams in the UEFA Champions League finals, revealing their journey in the tournament before the anticipated confrontation in Budapest.

2020: Paris 0-1 Bayern Munich

In a balanced final held in Lisbon, Coman secured the match for Bayern Munich with a goal in the 59th minute. The match saw dangerous opportunities for Paris through Neymar and Kylian Mbappe, but Manuel Neuer saved several attempts, and the French team failed to equalize.

2025: Paris 5-0 Inter Milan

Paris Saint-Germain won the UEFA Champions League title with the largest result in the history of the finals, after defeating Inter Milan with five unanswered goals in Munich.

Achraf Hakimi scored the first goal, followed by a second goal from Doi, then the team continued its dominance with three additional goals from Doi, Kvaratskhelia, and Sini Mayolo, securing the title for Paris in a historic manner.
