The British model Taylor Ward, Mahrez's wife, posted on her Instagram account pictures showing the "Greens" captain enjoying his vacation in Turkey in a calm family atmosphere, away from international preparations.

The former Manchester City star and current Al-Ahli Saudi player appeared alongside former Algerian national team goalkeeper Raïs M'Bolhi in what was described as a calm atmosphere, accompanied by some close associates.

The reactions of Algerian fans were divided regarding Mahrez's appearance at this time. Some supporters considered it nothing more than a "warrior's rest" after a long and exhausting season with his club and national team, while others questioned the timing of the vacation, especially with the start of World Cup preparations and his repeated absences at the beginning of training camps before major events.
