Barcelona is close to finishing its 2025/2026 season calmly, after a season described as successful once again, as the team won two titles under the leadership of coach Hans Flick, with the confirmation of the stability of the technical project within the club.

Barcelona is preparing to play its last match in the Spanish League against Valencia at the Mestalla Stadium, in a meeting that may witness some farewells within the team, including Robert Lewandowski.

On the other hand, Flick received positive news, with the confirmed absence of both Fermín López and Lamine Yamal due to injury, as Fermín López underwent surgery on the fifth metatarsal and will be out for approximately three months, while Lamine Yamal continues his treatment program hoping to return in the best shape.

According to the Spanish newspaper 'Sport', Flick is close to regaining three important players for the last league match, namely Frenkie de Jong, Marcus Rashford, and Ferran Torres.

De Jong was absent from the squad facing Real Betis on Sunday and did not participate in training on Saturday due to muscle pain, as explained by coach Hans Flick. As for Ferran Torres, the club issued a medical statement confirming his injury to the biceps femoris muscle.

Regarding Rashford, he suffered from some muscle discomfort and only sat on the bench in the Real Betis match without participating.

The report indicated that the three players participated normally in training on Wednesday at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper, in the penultimate training session of the season, with anticipation regarding their final status before facing Valencia.
