Erbil Club Faces Major Crisis Before Police Encounter

Erbil Club witnessed a sudden development before the anticipated match against the police tomorrow in the Iraqi Stars League, following the announcement of its Uzbek striker Sherzod Temirov leaving Iraq and heading to his country to join the Uzbekistan national team camp.

The player left without informing the club management or the technical staff, prompting the 'Castle of Hawler' management to announce legal actions against him for breaching contract terms and leaving the team at a critical time in the season.

Temirov, the current league top scorer with 28 goals, is considered Erbil's primary winning card this season and has directly contributed to the team reaching third place with 70 points, three rounds before the end.
