The Portuguese Miguel Cardoso, the head coach of South Africa's Mamelodi Sundowns, caused concern within his team after hinting at the possible absence of his player Aubrey Modiba from the second leg of the CAF Champions League final against the Royal Army.

In a press statement following the match, Cardozo said: "We have to wait to know the developments of Aubrey Modiba's condition, but we will likely miss him due to injury."
