Palestine Prepares for Friendlies Against Tajikistan and India in June
The Palestinian national team is preparing to play its first preparatory match for 2026 when it faces the Tajikistan national team in the capital, Dushanbe, at the beginning of next month, followed by a match against the Indian national team five days later.
The Palestinian national team was supposed to play two friendly matches in March in Morocco against Benin and Mauritania. However, the situation related to the war between Iran and the Zionists prevented the possibility of traveling and holding the camp on schedule.
Due to these circumstances, the technical staff, led by coach Ihab Abu Jazar, reached out to a large number of teams to find alternatives during the international match window.
A training camp is scheduled to be held in Qatar this week, featuring professional players from the Qatari league, with the rest of the squad joining gradually as the season draws to a close.
The matches against Tajikistan and India hold a special significance as the Palestinian team has never lost to them in their previous encounters.
