Ayman Hussein Out of Al-Karma's Plans Until End of Season

The technical staff of Al-Karma Club, led by coach Moamen Suleiman, decided to exclude striker Ayman Hussein from the team's plans until the end of the current season in the Iraqi Stars League due to his lack of physical readiness and ongoing recovery from injury.

Suleiman, who took over the task only two matches ago, aims to finish the season in the best possible way and prefers to rely on fully available players, avoiding any risks that might affect the team's stability.

According to sources within the club, Ayman Hussein is still in the recovery phase from a groin muscle injury he recently suffered. The player has not yet reached the required readiness to participate, especially after the injury reoccurred following his early participation without completing the full treatment program.

The medical staff emphasized the necessity of completing rehabilitation properly to avoid any setbacks that could affect the player's preparations for the upcoming phase with the national team.

The technical decision was made to give Ayman a full opportunity to focus on his therapeutic and physical program in preparation for joining the Iraqi national team's camp in Spain in eight days, as part of the preparations for the 2026 World Cup.

The technical staff at Al-Karma believes that involving the player while he is not ready will not benefit him or the team, so it was agreed that he would undergo individual training until the end of the season, with close medical monitoring to ensure he reaches the best condition before traveling.

Ayman Hussein's contract with Al-Karma ends at the end of the current season, and the club's management has not yet decided on renewing the contract.

The player himself preferred to postpone discussing his future until after the World Cup, amid expectations of receiving external offers in the coming period, especially with his anticipated participation with the Lions of Mesopotamia on the global stage.
