Juventus Enters Race to Sign Bernardo Silva

Press reports have revealed that Juventus is still keen on its chances of signing Portuguese player Bernardo Silva from Manchester City, who is preparing to leave the English team at the end of his contract next June.

Bernardo Silva has already announced his unwillingness to renew his contract with Manchester City, becoming a free agent starting June 30, after a nine-year career at the Etihad Stadium since his move from Monaco, which has sparked significant interest from major European clubs.

The 31-year-old player is attracting interest from several clubs, with Barcelona at the forefront, which is his preferred destination so far, given his desire to embark on a new experience in the Spanish league.

However, the path to the deal does not seem easy, given the involvement of several parties in the negotiations, including Saudi clubs, others from the American league, as well as Benfica and Galatasaray, in addition to Juventus, which is moving strongly to finalize the deal.

According to journalist Nicolo Schira, the offer being prepared by Juventus includes an annual salary of up to 8 million euros, divided into 6 million as a fixed amount and 2 million as performance-related bonuses, both individual and team-based, as well as qualification for the Champions League.

The Italian club is also preparing to offer a contract that extends until 2028, with an option to extend for an additional season, if the deal is successfully completed, which means the player could stay until the age of 34.

Spalletti is one of the main supporters of the idea of signing Silva, as he sees him as a key element in Juventus' new project. Meanwhile, the club's management is also considering alternative options such as Brahim Diaz in case negotiations falter.
