Arsenal Nears Premier League Title with Dramatic Win Over West Ham

Arsenal is close to securing the Premier League title after a 1-0 victory over West Ham in the 36th round of the competition, in a match held at the London Olympic Stadium.

Arsenal raised its tally to 79 points at the top, temporarily 5 points ahead of Manchester City, which has a postponed match against Crystal Palace, while West Ham's tally froze at 36 points in the eighteenth position.

Arsenal imposed its control over the first half against West Ham United, creating many dangerous opportunities, but the home team's defense and goalkeeper's brilliance prevented the net from being shaken.

On the other hand, West Ham almost snatched the lead goal in the final moments of the first half when one of its players met a cross with a powerful header, but goalkeeper David Raya shone and saved his goal brilliantly.

In the second half, West Ham retreated to its defensive areas, while Arsenal faced difficulty in penetrating the home team's defenses, despite continuous possession and intensive attempts on the home team's goal.

Raya continued his brilliance by saving his goal from a certain goal opportunity in the 77th minute by Matheus Fernandes, before Leandro Trossard succeeded in scoring the winning goal for Arsenal in the 82nd minute with a shot from inside the penalty area following a superb pass from Martin Odegaard.

Wilson almost scored the equalizer in the 90+4 minute, but Gabriel cleared his shot to a corner from which West Ham managed to score an equalizing goal, but the referee canceled the goal due to a foul in favor of Raya after consulting the video technology.
