Champions League Final Referee Between Arsenal and Paris Saint-Germain
The UEFA announced through its referees committee the officiating team assigned to manage the Champions League final for the 2025/2026 season between Paris Saint-Germain and Arsenal, scheduled to take place on May 30, 2026, in Hungary.
The match will be officiated by German referee Daniel Siebert, assisted by Jan Seidel and Rafael Foltyn, with Sandro Schärer serving as the fourth official.
Guadalupe Porras Ayuso has been appointed as the reserve assistant referee, while Bastian Dankert will handle the video assistant referee (VAR) technology, assisted by Robert Schröder, with Carlos del Cerro Grande included in the VAR support team.
This final marks the first European club competition final for the German referee under UEFA, having officiated nine Champions League matches this season, including the first leg of the quarter-final between Sporting Lisbon and Arsenal, and the second leg of the semi-final between Arsenal and Atletico Madrid.
The referee also officiated the 2025 Europa League semi-final match between Manchester United and Athletic Bilbao, and managed two matches in the 2024 European Championship and three matches in the 2020 European Championship.
