Diego Simeone, the coach of Atletico Madrid, spoke to the media after his team's loss to Celta Vigo by one goal to nil, expressing his dissatisfaction with the result and affirming that his team deserved more than that.

Regarding the physical fatigue the team is suffering from, he stated: "I think that at these moments we must manage the situation, they have had an important season in La Liga with the goal the club has, we competed very well in the Champions League, and we performed better than expected, in the cup we reached as far as possible, even to the end with penalty kicks, I must thank the players for the effort they put in."

He added regarding the remainder of the season: "I think anyone when entering to play never wants to lose, we will compete as we always do, as we did today, at the beginning of La Liga we were a disaster, and we competed well in the Champions League, and well in the King's Cup, the management, to be close to them because they come from incredible efforts, and with the available ones we will compete on Tuesday."

He also spoke about the current situation of the team saying: "For me, it is managing the moment as we have to manage other different moments, the club's goal has already been achieved, we will not win La Liga, we will not play the Champions League final, and we have already lost the King's Cup final, we will give our best as we did today."

About trying to regain energy within the team, he said: "The team's level was good, it was not bad, since we lost it seems that everything is bad, that energy seems to decrease, in the three games we have we will try to create this situation within the team, we have some injured players, and we compensate for that with some of those players who come with enthusiasm."

Regarding the substitution of Antoine Griezmann, he explained: "How would I not understand that, I always think about the team, I thought he gave everything, I thought the substitution we made could make us achieve more things, which did not happen."
