Mohamed Sobhi's Discontent Due to Not Being a Starter with Zamalek
The journalist Gamal El-Ghandour reported that there is a sense of discontent from Mohamed Sobhi, the Zamalek goalkeeper, due to his absence from the starting lineup and being overlooked by the coaching staff recently.
He clarified on the "Stad Al-Mehwar" program that Sobhi mentioned to those close to him that his current absence threatens his future, as he seeks to regularly participate with Zamalek to secure his spot on the Egyptian national team's roster for the 2026 World Cup.
Ghandour added that the player is currently waiting for official offers to present them to Zamalek officials, in order to finalize his decision on whether to stay or leave.
Zamalek will face USM Alger tomorrow, Saturday, in the first leg of the CAF Confederation Cup final.
