Former Algerian Star Issues Warning to USM Alger
Hussein Ashiou, the former star of the Algerian national team and USM Alger, issued a warning to USM Alger ahead of their match against Zamalek in the Confederation Cup final.
USM Alger will face Zamalek next Saturday in the first leg of the CAF Confederation Cup final.
Ashio said in statements to "On Sport FM" radio: "It's a tough match for both teams, but Zamalek has better and more complete chances. However, it's a final match that holds all expectations."
He added, "Zamalek's strength is more collective, and even the individual efforts work in favor of the group, making Zamalek more cohesive."
He continued: "Zamalek has strong players, led by Abdullah Al-Saeed, the captain, along with Bezera, who is also a very skilled player."
He concluded: "I hope for USM Alger's victory despite Zamalek's completeness, and the biggest winner is sportsmanship and camaraderie."
