Tuesday 05-05-2026
Al-Ahly Club is looking to strengthen its attacking line with strong signings during the upcoming summer transfer window, as part of the management's plan to enhance the team's offensive capabilities. The Red Castle has turned its attention towards the Moroccan league.

The program "Al Kora Ma'a Fayeq," broadcast on MBC Masr, revealed that Soufiane Benjdida, the forward for Maghreb Fes and top scorer in the Moroccan league, has become one of the prominent names on the table for Al Ahly's recruitment management.

Reports indicated that Al-Ahly's management has already inquired about the player's status, paving the way for a potential contract with him. He is included in a shortlist of three forwards being considered to join the team during the summer transfer window.

In the same context, the name of striker Ryan Mmaee, who is currently playing in the Cypriot league, was proposed as one of the available attacking options for the coaching staff to choose the most suitable one.

On the financial front, Sofiane Benjdida's market value is estimated at around 1.3 million euros. Maghreb Fes signed him last summer and recently moved to extend his contract until 2030, in a bid to maximize financial returns from any potential transfer deal.

According to the same data, if Al Ahly decides to sign Benjida, official negotiations are expected to begin, which could be valued at around two million dollars to finalize the deal.

The Moroccan striker is delivering impressive performances this season, having participated in 15 matches with his team, during which he scored 13 goals and assisted one, making him an appealing target for the Red Castle.

The player also has previous professional experience in European fields, specifically in Belgium, which enhances his technical value and makes him a potentially strong addition if he moves to the Egyptian league.
