Inzaghi's Agent Denies Request to Sign Raphinha
Tuesday 05-05-2026
Federico Pastorello, agent of Italian coach Simone Inzaghi, head coach of Al Hilal, denied the truth of the news about an offer to include Barcelona player Raphinha, confirming that this information is unfounded, according to the Spanish newspaper 'Sport'.

Media reports had talked about a substantial financial offer from Al Hilal to sign Raphinha, as part of moves attributed to the Saudi club in the transfer market, but this news did not last long after the agent's denial.

Pastorello clarified in his statements that Inzaghi did not request to sign Raphinha, emphasizing that all that has been circulated about negotiations or official offers to include the Barcelona player is incorrect.

Inzaghi's agent also pointed out that the Italian coach has not yet made any requests regarding new signings or the list of players potentially leaving, confirming that he decided to postpone all these matters until the end of the season, aiming to maintain the team's focus during the crucial stage of competitions.

In a related context, Sport newspaper reported that Raphinha is going through a period of reflection regarding his future, as he has set a deadline to evaluate his career after the World Cup scheduled for this summer. Despite his comfort in Barcelona, the player is aware that he will turn 30 in the coming months, which puts him in a position to consider a new experience outside the club.

Meanwhile, Barcelona's sports management is closely monitoring the player's situation, with confidence that the Brazilian international will postpone his final decision and is inclined to continue with the team and possibly extend his contract.

The newspaper also noted that Barcelona does not rule out the possibility of a future offer from an Arab club to sign Raphinha through agent Pini Zahavi, although there has been no official offer so far.
