Bayern Munich has made its decision regarding signing the English star Marcus Rashford, having decided to rule out the idea of acquiring him during the upcoming summer transfer window.

According to press reports, Rashford's name is not included in the list of targets for the Bavarian giant, despite being recently mentioned as a potential alternative option in case the deal for Newcastle United's winger Anthony Gordon falls through.

The data indicated that Gordon is considered the main target for Bayern's management at present, as initial moves have already begun to reach out to his representatives. This is part of the club's efforts to sign a versatile attacking player capable of occupying positions on the wings and in the forward line.

In the same context, journalist Christian Falk confirmed that the news related to Rashford's transfer to Bayern is "not true," explaining that the player is not among the options being considered by the club.

This comes despite the good performances Rashford is delivering this season in a Barcelona jersey, where he is playing on loan from Manchester United.

The player's future remains open to several possibilities, especially after he was previously excluded from coach Ruben Amorim's plans, despite the improvement the team experienced later under Michael Carrick's leadership, which led them back to the Champions League after a two-season absence.

For its part, Barcelona has the option to purchase the player for £26 million, but reports indicate that the Catalan club is hesitant to activate this clause so far.

On the other hand, Bayern Munich continues its moves in the transfer market in search of suitable offensive reinforcements, without including Rashford's name among its current priorities.
