Chelsea suffered a heavy defeat against Nottingham Forest with a score of 3-1 in the match that took place at Stamford Bridge, as part of the 35th round of the English Premier League.

Taiwo Awoniyi opened the scoring early in the second minute, before Igor Jesus added the second goal from a penalty in the 15th minute.

The match saw Cole Palmer miss a penalty for Chelsea in the 45+10th minute, before Taiwo Awoniyi came back to score the third goal in the 52nd minute.

Chelsea succeeded in scoring a goal to narrow the gap in the 90+3 minute through the Brazilian forward João Pedro.

With this victory, Nottingham Forest increased their tally to 42 points, placing them 16th in the English Premier League standings, while Chelsea's tally remained at 48 points in ninth place.

This comes at a time when Chelsea urgently needed a win, having lost their last five consecutive league matches without scoring a single goal.
