West Ham Determines Its Stance on Santo's Continuation as Team Coach
Monday 04-05-2026
Reports have indicated that West Ham United wishes to keep coach Nuno Santo in his position even if the team is relegated from the Premier League.

According to an exclusive report by "The Telegraph," the future of the Portuguese coach is tied to his personal decision, as either party can terminate the contract without compensation if relegation is confirmed, with two years remaining on his contract.

Nuno Santo is currently continuing to focus on trying to save the team without making a final decision.

He took over coaching the team last September, succeeding Graham Potter, and later succeeded in leading West Ham through a period of improvement after a difficult start, with administrative support that granted him authority in the winter transfer market.

West Ham is currently in eighteenth place with three matches remaining, facing Arsenal and then Newcastle, before concluding their season against Leeds United.
