Press reports have revealed that Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham United are interested in signing Barcelona midfielder Marc Casado in the upcoming transfer window.

According to what was reported by the Toto Mercato website, the transfer of the young Spanish player to one of the two clubs is contingent upon their remaining in the English Premier League during the current season.

The reports added that the Spanish player is considering leaving Barcelona at the end of the season due to his limited playing time under coach Hans Flick.

It pointed out that Casado, who is 22 years old, faces the risk of his development being hindered due to a lack of playing time, especially with no action from Barcelona's management to renew his contract or improve its terms.

She concluded that the player's current contract with Barcelona runs until 2028, but his future remains open to all possibilities, amid interest from Saudi league clubs in signing him.
