Moamen Soliman Takes Over Coaching Al-Karma
Al-Karma Club has just announced its official contract with the Egyptian coach Moamen Soliman to lead the first team in the remaining competitions of the Iraqi Stars League, succeeding Essam Hamad, who was given an open leave by the management following a decline in results.
The announcement came hours after Al-Shorta Club issued an official statement bidding farewell to Soliman by mutual consent, allowing the "Sons of Ramadi" to quickly resolve the new coach's file and close the search for a replacement.
Al-Shorta Club confirmed in its statement that the separation from the Egyptian coach was by mutual consent, after a coaching career during which he provided distinguished work and contributed to achieving several accomplishments with the team.
The administrative body honored Soliman with a commemorative shield in appreciation of his efforts, in the presence of the team supervisor Ali Al-Shahmani and team manager Hashim Reza, and the assistant coach Amr Fathi was also honored. The club emphasized that the efforts of the technical staff will remain appreciated within the green fortress, wishing him success in his next station.
Moamen Soliman is considered one of the coaching names that left a clear mark in the Iraqi league. The Egyptian coach achieved more than one league title with Al-Shorta and led them to win the Iraq Cup for the first time in the club's history. He had previously led Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya and won the cup title with them.
Al-Karma is now required to quickly reorganize its papers, especially since the league has entered its final stages. Soliman will start his work immediately with the team, aiming to stop the bleeding of points and restore the technical discipline that the team has recently lacked.
The fans expect the new coach to give the team a different character in the remaining five rounds and to benefit from his successful record in Iraqi football to lead the "Sons of Ramadi" to a safe end of the season.
