CAF Announces Gabonese Referee Team for Confederation Cup Final Second Leg

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) informed the officials of Zamalek Club about appointing a refereeing team from Gabon to manage the first football team's match against USM Alger, scheduled for May 16 at the Cairo International Stadium, in the second leg of the CAF Confederation Cup final.

The refereeing team consists of Gabonese Pierre Ghislain Atcho as the main referee, assisted by his compatriots Boris Marlaize Ditsoga as the first assistant referee, and Amos Abigain Ndong as the second assistant referee, while Tanguy Patrice Mebiame has been appointed as the fourth official.

At the level of video technology, CAF assigned the task to Tunisian Haythem Guirat as the video assistant referee, with Maria Rivet from Mauritius assisting as a video assistant referee, in addition to Cameroonian Carine Fomo Atemzabong as a second video assistant referee.

Djibouti's Mohamed Moumen Ali was also selected as the general match observer, while Lemghifri Bouchaab from Mauritania is responsible for refereeing oversight.

The first leg match between the two teams is scheduled to take place on May 9th at the July 5, 1962 Stadium in Algeria, as part of the continental championship final.
