Enrique: Not All Opinions Deserve Respect, and Hakimi is Irreplaceable

Paris Saint-Germain is preparing to face Lorient tomorrow evening at the Parc des Princes, as part of the 32nd round of the French football league. The team aims to continue its positive results in this match.

Paris Saint-Germain enters the match with high spirits, but cautiously, after their thrilling 5-4 victory over Bayern Munich in the first leg of the UEFA Champions League semi-final. The match sparked much controversy due to defensive errors.

Luis Enrique, the team's coach, spoke about the criticism he faced after that match, saying: "It's like life."

He added, "There are opinions everywhere, and I believe it's not necessary to respect all opinions, because if one is bad, there's no need to respect it."

The Spanish coach continued his discussion about the style of play, saying: "There are those who prefer to play football this way, and they are the majority, and I am one of them. However, some do not prefer it, but I believe we have shown that the majority enjoyed the match."

He added, "Some might say, what a big result this is? But we, along with Bayern Munich and Arsenal, are among the best defensive teams, and there are great individual players, so such results can happen. It was a great match to watch but more challenging for the coach, and I would like to tip my hat to both teams."

Enrique addressed the absence of Achraf Hakimi from the return match due to injury, saying: "He is a machine, a key player for us. What do I need to explain about his level? He always delivers excellent performances, a tireless and amazing player, it's like having three players."

He added: "Unfortunately, he will not be in Munich, but we are reassured and happy because we have other options at a very high level. However, I will not provide any additional information."

Regarding the goalkeeper position and Lucas Chevalier's injury, and the possibility of relying on Safonov against Lorient, he said: "The goalkeeper position is different. When I was with Barcelona's reserve team, I used five different goalkeepers in seven matches, then I chose the best one from my perspective."

He concluded: "I am open-minded about football. The world has changed, so why shouldn't football change too? I won't provide any information; you'll have to wait until tomorrow, as anything is possible."
