Lavezzi reveals reason for his tremors
Ezequiel Lavezzi, the former Paris Saint-Germain star, has reassured his fans about his health following the circulation of a video showing him experiencing severe tremors in his arms and legs, which raised widespread concern among his followers.
Ezequiel Lavezzi explained during his appearance on the 'Fenomeni' program on Amazon Prime Italy that he went through a very difficult period after retiring from football in 2019, confirming that he suffered from depression and underwent treatment at a clinic, and he is still receiving treatment to this day.
The Argentine player said: "When I stopped playing, I felt a huge void, and there was nothing to fill it. I suffered from depression, I went into a clinic, and I am still undergoing treatment, but I am gradually recovering."
Lavezzi confirmed that his condition has improved significantly in recent times, noting that the birth of his second son in 2024 has had a major impact on his life.
