Liverpool Announces Details of Salah's Injury and His Return Date to the Field
Wednesday 29-04-2026
Liverpool Football Club issued an official statement this Wednesday evening, revealing details about the injury of their Egyptian star Mohamed Salah, the team's winger, after he was taken off during the last Premier League match.

Salah had left the field during the second half of Liverpool's 3-1 victory over Crystal Palace, in the match that took place last Saturday evening at Anfield, as part of the Premier League competition.

Liverpool confirmed in their statement that the player is suffering from a minor muscle injury, explaining that he is expected to be ready to return to action before the end of the 2025/2026 season.

The club indicated that Salah will return to the field before the end of the current season, despite previous reports suggesting he might be absent until the season's end.

This comes at a time when the Egyptian star continues to deliver impressive numbers, having scored 12 goals and provided 9 assists in 39 matches he played with Liverpool this season.

Liverpool is set to visit Manchester United next Sunday evening at Old Trafford as part of the 35th round of the English Premier League.

It is noted that Mohamed Salah announced last March that he would leave Liverpool at the end of the current season.
