Global press reports revealed on Monday that there is a desire within Bayern Munich's management to renew the contract of English star Harry Kane, given the outstanding performances he has delivered since joining the team, according to Sky Sports.

According to the report, the Bavarian club plans to open negotiations with Harry Kane to sign a new contract after the end of the current season, even though his contract already extends until the summer of 2027.

Kane joined Bayern Munich from Tottenham Hotspur in the summer of 2023 and has since delivered a strong performance, scoring 53 goals and providing 6 assists in 45 matches across various domestic and continental competitions.

The English striker has also managed to win three titles with the Bavarian team so far, consisting of two Bundesliga titles and one German Super Cup title.

Harry Kane hopes to continue his successful journey with Bayern Munich to win the UEFA Champions League title in the current edition, as the team has qualified for the semi-finals to face Paris Saint-Germain, after overcoming Real Madrid in the previous round.

Kane's name had been linked recently with the possibility of returning to Tottenham next summer. However, this idea seems difficult to achieve at the moment, especially if the English club is relegated to the Championship.
