Everton Football Club announced on its official website the extension of its English defender Michael Keane's contract for an additional season, keeping him with the team until the end of June 2027, marking his tenth year with the club.

Keane joined Everton in July 2017 from Burnley and has since played in 259 matches, including 223 in the Premier League, making him one of the most featured players in the club's history.

The English defender scored 19 goals during his career with the team and played 12 international matches with the England national team, 9 of which were during his time with Everton.

Kane confirmed in his statements that Everton has become a significant part of his life, noting his strong sense of belonging to the club, its fans, and his teammates within the team.
