Manchester City achieved a valuable and important victory over their counterpart Arsenal with a score of two goals to one, in the summit of the 33rd round of the English Premier League, in the match that brought the two teams together at the Etihad Stadium.

Manchester City took the lead through Rayan Cherki who received a ball from Nunez before entering the penalty area and outmaneuvering Arsenal's defenses, striking the ball into the net in the 16th minute.

In the 18th minute, Arsenal scored the equalizer after a pass from a City player reached Donnarumma, who tried to clear the ball but it deflected off Kai Havertz and settled into the empty net.

Manchester City managed to score the winning goal through Erling Haaland, after a ball reached O'Reilly who sent a cross that reached Haaland, who skillfully shot it into the goal in the 65th minute.

Arsenal's tally froze at 70 points at the top, while Manchester City raised their tally to 67 points in second place, with a postponed match against Crystal Palace.
