Decisive Decisions Shake Moroccan Football: Suspensions and Case Closures in the Ethics Committee
Thursday 16-04-2026
The Central Disciplinary and Sportsmanship Committee of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation announced a series of decisions and penalties following a meeting held by the Ethics Committee today, Thursday.

The decisions included suspending Hicham Rammouch, a member of the executive office of the Fez-Meknes regional league, for one year, with six months suspended, and fining him 20,000 dirhams for posting comments described as offensive in a remark on a post targeting a university-affiliated body.

The committee also decided to suspend Radwan Al-Houri, the coach of the Ittihad Awlad Ayyad team, until he appears before the Ethics Committee, after he missed its sessions despite receiving several summonses, in a case related to accusations of unsportsmanlike conduct during his team's match against Ittihad Awlad Zmam.

The decision also included the suspension of Hicham Sekoum, the administrator of the same team, for the same reason, pending the completion of investigations and his appearance before the competent committee.

On the other hand, the committee decided to dismiss the complaint filed against Omar Al-Abbas, a member of the managing board of the Tangier Sports Union Club, regarding accusations of impersonation and forgery of a signature, after no violations were proven.

The file concerning the player Zinedine Brigitte and the Turkish Sports Union Club, related to a dispute over a professional contract, was also archived due to the committee's lack of jurisdiction to consider this type of case.

The decisions concluded with the dismissal of a complaint filed by the head of the medical committee of the Fez-Meknes regional league, after no legal violations were found in the incidents subject to the complaint.
