The report indicated that there is a feeling within the club's corridors that the player might follow in the footsteps of his former teammate Alexander Isak, who left last season after rebelling during the preparation period before agreeing to sell him in a record deal.

The report revealed that Newcastle's management will not consider Gordon's departure unless they receive an offer of 80 million pounds, which is the amount set for considering selling the player by the end of the season.
