The Truth About Mohamed El Shenawy's Retirement at the End of the Current Season
The media personality Ahmed Shobeir revealed the truth about the retirement of Mohamed El Shenawy, Al Ahly's goalkeeper, at the end of the current season.
In a radio statement, Shobeir said: "El Shenawy will not retire, his contract with Al Ahly is ongoing, and I don't know the source of this information. The goalkeeper will be part of Egypt's national team roster for the World Cup."
He added: "Mostafa Shobeir is not at risk of suspension as has been circulated recently because he received only one yellow card, not two, and therefore there is no threat."
Mohamed El-Shenawy will miss his team's match against Pyramids scheduled for Monday, April 27, as part of the Premier League due to suspension.
