Hussein El Shahat Rejects Al Ahly's Offer to Renew His Contract
The media personality Khaled Al-Ghandour confirmed that Hussein El-Shahat, the Al-Ahly player, rejected the club's offer to renew his contract.
Al-Ghandour said on his Facebook page: "Hussein El-Shahat's contract with Al-Ahly officially ended with the conclusion of the season in February. Al-Ahly offered him an amount, but the player refused and wants a higher contract."
He continued: "And Al Ahly sees that the contract is suitable for the player's age, and El Shahat wants to stay at Al Ahly and doesn't want to leave."
Ghandour concluded: "Al-Ahly is waiting and knows that El-Shahat will not sign with any club unless Al-Ahly closes the door on him. In any case, his fate will be decided in a few days, whether it will be Libya, the UAE, or staying with Al-Ahly."
