Ahmed Abdel Aziz said in statements to "On Sport FM": "Our goal, as one of the leading teams, is to finish the season in fourth place. Therefore, the match against Ceramica is like a 6-point game in achieving this goal."

He spoke about the refereeing crisis, saying: "The club management believes we were wronged in the match against Al Ahly after a legitimate penalty was not awarded. Therefore, we submitted a memorandum to the Egyptian Football Association requesting that referees Mahmoud Nagy and Wael Farhan not be assigned to our matches."

He added, "And honestly, despite my feeling of being unfairly judged by the referees, the overall level of officiating this season is better."

He concluded his remarks by pointing out that refereeing errors are an integral part of football, as the referee is ultimately human and can make both correct and incorrect decisions.
