Zamalek Considers Involving Awad Against Shabab Belouizdad
The newspaper "Youm7" revealed that the Zamalek coaching staff, led by Moatamed Gamal, is considering playing the white team's goalkeeper, Mohamed Awad, against Chabab Belouizdad in the second leg of the Confederation Cup semi-final.
The newspaper stated that this decision was made with the aim of giving Mahdi Suleiman some rest and protecting him from fatigue, as well as preparing Awad technically, considering the team's need for the efforts of all players in the decisive rounds of the league and the Confederation Cup finals.
Awad's crisis with Zamalek, which began due to his objection to sitting on the bench, has recently ended.
Zamalek will face Chabab Belouizdad next Friday in the second leg of the CAF Confederation Cup semi-final.
