Saturday 11-04-2026
Former England international Jamie Carragher revealed his predictions for the paths of the teams in the 2026 World Cup during his appearance on a program on the "Telegraph" channel, where he provided a detailed analysis of the Moroccan national team.

Carragher explained that the competition in Group C will be strong between the Moroccan and Brazilian teams, noting that the Brazilian team is always one of the top contenders. However, he chose the Moroccan team to top the group.

He expected the Scotland team to finish third in the same group, according to his view of the competition's trajectory.

Regarding the knockout stages, Carragher predicted that the Moroccan team would face Japan in the Round of 32, before overcoming Ecuador in the Round of 16 and continuing their journey in the tournament.

However, the predictions stopped at the quarter-finals, as it was believed that the England team would be able to eliminate Morocco and advance to the semi-finals.

As for the final match, Carragher predicted a purely European encounter between the national teams of France and Portugal.
