The media personality Ahmed Hassan, the former Egyptian football star, revealed the reason for excluding player Mohamed Sobhi from Zamalek's lineup for the match against Al-Masry Al-Portsaidi in the league.
Hassan stated on Facebook: "A source... Mohamed Sobhi was excluded from Zamalek's squad for the match against Al-Masry due to a technical decision by Moatamed Gamal because of the player's mistake in the match against Otoho, and the matter of his return to participation has not yet been decided."
Zamalek defeated Al-Masry Al-Portsaidi 4-1 yesterday, Sunday, in the first round of the Egyptian Premier League title decider stage.
Zamalek's tally rose to 46 points at the top of the league standings, while Al-Masry's tally remained at 32 points in fifth place.
