Zamalek Nears Resolution of October Land Issue with Pleasant Surprise for Fans
Hisham Nasr, Vice President of Zamalek Club, revealed developments regarding the club's land in the 6th of October City, confirming that there are serious efforts underway to reach a solution that satisfies the White Castle's fans.
Nasser explained in television statements that sports investment is still far from achieving large returns compared to European models, noting that clubs with more than one branch rely primarily on real estate revenues, which gives this matter particular importance.
He pointed out that the October land remains in its current state after being withdrawn, but there are alternatives available, some of which are in better locations, which gives the management confidence in reaching a suitable solution in the near future.
He added that the club is considering establishing new branches in more than one area, including October, Al Tagamoa, and New Assiut, as part of a plan to expand the club's base and increase its resources.
The Vice President of Zamalek confirmed that the fans can expect positive news, as efforts are underway to provide an alternative site in the 6th of October City with the same specifications, but in a better location and closer to the previous site.
He concluded his remarks by thanking the Ministry of Youth and Sports, the Ministry of Housing, and the relevant authorities for their support in this matter. He expressed hope that the procedures would be officially completed and announced to the public in the near future.
