Fiery Comment from Former Al-Hilal President on Salem Al-Dawsari's Injury
Friday 03-04-2026
Abdulrahman bin Musa'ad, the former president of Al-Hilal, made decisive statements to address the ongoing controversy regarding the injury of the team's player, Salem Al-Dawsari, following recent doubts about its authenticity.

Bin Musaed clarified his position through his account on the "X" platform, where he published the list of absences for Al-Hilal against Al-Taawoun, which included the name of Salem Al-Dawsari due to his knee tendon injury.

He confirmed that the player's absence from an important match like the one against Al-Taawoun clearly proves the reality of the injury, especially in a game that could have a direct impact on the league race.

He pointed out that some voices cast doubt on Salem's injury, going so far as to accuse him of faking it, either directly or indirectly, which he categorically denied.

Bin Musaed added, wishing a speedy recovery to Salem Al-Dawsari, as well as all injured players in various clubs, emphasizing the importance of players' safety above any other considerations.

This clarification comes amidst the controversy that arose following the exclusion of Salem Al-Dawsari from the Saudi national team's recent training camp, as part of preparations for the 2026 World Cup.

Al-Hilal is preparing to face Al-Taawoun on Saturday, April 4, as part of the 27th round of the Saudi Roshn League, amid significant absences in the team's ranks.
