Zamalek officials have decided on the departure of the duo Ahmed Hamdi and Saif Jaafar at the end of the current season as part of a plan to reorganize the team's ranks.

According to the newspaper "Al-Watan," the decision was based on a technical vision from the head coach, Moatamed Gamal, who does not rely on the players as key components during the current period.

The newspaper indicated that the Zamalek management decided not to extend Ahmed Hamdi's contract, which ends at the end of the season, while continuing to exclude him from the remaining matches.
