Three Spanish Clubs Aim to Sign Mostafa Shobeir
Wednesday 01-04-2026
The Spanish newspaper "Estadio Deportivo" reported that there is interest from three Spanish clubs in signing Mostafa Shobeir, the Al Ahly goalkeeper.

The newspaper clarified that the player is on the radar of the Spanish clubs Valencia, Getafe, and Almeria.

The media personality Ahmed Shobeir commented on this news in statements on his radio program, saying: "Was there really a Spanish club monitoring Mostafa Shobeir in yesterday's match against Spain? Honestly, I asked, and I only get an answer from him after things become clear and confirmed after a while, then Mostafa comes back to tell me after a long period."

He added, "But I have heard, like others, that there are clubs monitoring Mostafa. However, the confirmed information is that his agent is Spanish and belongs to a large Spanish company, the same company that transferred Omar Marmoush to Manchester City, and this information is 100% confirmed."

He concluded: "There were only informal talks, and it did not reach actual negotiations regarding the renewal. This is what I know based on my information, and there may be other matters I am not aware of. Of course, if Mostafa receives a significant European offer, Al Ahly fans would be the first to be happy about it. But what I can confirm is that Mostafa is an Al Ahly supporter, belongs to an Al Ahly-supporting family, and is strongly connected to the club."
