Monday 30-03-2026
The coach of the Paraguay national team, Gustavo Alfaro, praised the significant development of football in Morocco, affirming that the Moroccan team has become a strong contender for the World Cup title.

Álvaro stated in media remarks that Moroccan football is witnessing continuous growth, noting that the work is not limited to the present but extends to early planning for the 2030 tournament, which Morocco is preparing to host.

He added that the Moroccan national team is moving in the right direction, considering that discussing the 2030 edition is not premature, given the strategy being implemented from now.

On the other hand, the coach criticized the lack of a future vision within Paraguayan football, explaining that building a strong team requires long-term planning, particularly concerning the early preparation of young players.

He concluded his remarks by emphasizing the importance of continuous work and not waiting until major tournaments are near, pointing to the need for early development of the football foundation.

The Paraguay national team is expected to meet its Moroccan counterpart the day after tomorrow, Tuesday, in the city of Lens, in a friendly match as part of preparations for upcoming events.
