The renowned journalist Fabrizio Romano revealed the latest developments regarding the future of star Mohamed Salah, following his announcement to leave Liverpool at the end of the current season.

Romano resolved the controversy surrounding Salah's move to Inter Miami, emphatically confirming that there are currently no negotiations between the two parties.

He clarified that the news linking the player to playing alongside Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez is unfounded, despite its recent widespread circulation.

On the other hand, Saudi league clubs still consider Salah one of their main targets, especially with his potential free departure from Liverpool next summer.

Romano pointed out that Saudi clubs have tried to sign the player over the past two years, but they now have a real opportunity to complete the deal given his new contractual situation.

Several clubs, such as Al-Ittihad, Al-Hilal, Al-Nassr, and Al-Qadisiyah, are seriously interested in signing the Egyptian star.

Al-Ittihad Club is considered the closest among these clubs, especially after its previous attempt that included a massive offer to sign Salah in the summer of 2023, which was ultimately rejected by Liverpool's management.
