Thursday 26-03-2026
The Spanish newspaper 'Mundo Deportivo' revealed Barcelona's offensive superiority during the current season, as the team is the most in Europe in terms of the number of players who have scored hat-tricks in a single match, reflecting the team's great scoring power under the leadership of coach Hans Flick.

According to the newspaper, Barcelona scored 125 goals in 46 official matches this season, surpassed only by Bayern Munich, which scored 143 goals in 43 matches, confirming the offensive effectiveness of the Catalan team despite the decline in the level of some outright strikers.

The newspaper pointed out that five different Barcelona players scored hat-tricks this season: Fermín López against Olympiacos, Robert Lewandowski against Celta Vigo, Ferran Torres against Real Betis, Lamine Yamal against Villarreal, and Raphinha against Sevilla.

In contrast, Real Madrid and Chelsea come next with three players each who scored hat-tricks, where Kylian Mbappe, Gonzalo, and Valverde shone with Real Madrid, while Joao Pedro, Pedro Neto, and Cole Palmer scored hat-tricks with Chelsea.

The report added that several other clubs such as Bayern Munich, Atletico Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain, Arsenal, Villarreal, Lyon, and Brentford have only two players who scored hat-tricks, noting that Harry Kane scored three hat-tricks on his own this season, highlighting the collective difference that distinguishes Barcelona offensively.
